On September 19, 2015 38 students and staff members participated in Zeta Omega Chapter 5k run, 1 mile Scholarship Foundation, which allows them to underprivileged students and a portion of their college costs.  The walk also supports the Department of Labor HEALS initiative, Healthy Eating Active Lifestyle.  The event also gave our students an opportunity to meet member’s local fraternities and sororities.  Organizations that were present consisted of Omega Psi Phi (Zeta Omega Chapter)- Host;  Phi Beta Sigma, Delta Sigma Theta, Alpha Kappa Alpha and Sigma Gamma Rho. Many of the students were excited about supporting the cause as they both appreciate the opportunity to attend Job Corps, and many students aspire to attend college one day.
