During the week of October 22-27, 2012, DJCC trainees and staff volunteered at various community organizations relating to “Make a Difference Day, 2012”. Partner organizations included: Detroit Coast Guard, Gleaner’s Community Food Bank, Detroit Rescue Mission, John Dingell VA Hospital and Forgotten Harvest. Other partners included: AmeriCorps Urban Safety Project, Cody Rouge Community Action Alliance, Arise Detroit, Behr Paint, McDonald’s, Starbucks, Blight Buster, Tanner Plumbing, Home Depot and many more.
