Faces of Job Corps

Julia Gibson started Job corps as a Career Transition Instructor in September 2016 where she quickly began to understand the needs of the Job Corps Trainees and jumped enthusiastically into her roll of helping each and every person successfully transition into the workforce.  Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Public Relations from Johnson and Wales; and a Masters in Management from George Mason University.

Ms. Gibson demonstrated a warm caring professionalism when working with our young adults, coworkers and the public in general.  This approached led to her being promoted to the Business Community Liaison Position where she serves the EJC students organizing events and creating effective partnerships throughout New Jersey and the adjacent states.   Julia is in essence the Public Relations Manager and facilitator of video’s for the Job Corps trainees highlighting student success story.

Throughout her tenure Ms. Gibson is a roll model for professionalism setting a high standard for trainees and staff alike.  Her tireless positive energy is contagious and helps all around feel appreciated as we seek to help our trainees reach their individual potential.
