Ground Hog Job Shadow – Congressman James Langevin

March 31st, 2016

Exeter Student Government Students Daniela Elsaw and Zachary Bailey were excited to be chosen to Job Shadow at  U.S. Congressman James Langevin’s RI office  in honor of National Ground Hog Job Shadow week.  When they arrived they were warmly greeted by the Congressman’s team, each person introduced themselves and talked about their job duties.   A highlight of this special day was when they joined Congressman Langevin for a meeting with a woman who was fighting for equal rights for people with disabilities and pursuing a college degree.  Daniela wrote…“Congressman Langevin is a kind-hearted, loving, caring and understanding man.  We also had the opportunity to talk with him about our goals and he was very interested  in their journey at Exeter Job Corps.  Congressman Langevin has a love for Exeter, what the program does for young people in their life and the students themselves.”
