Star Student at Finch Henry Job Corps Center

Mykel Lynch wanted to be a truck driver. Even after his training in Material Handling at Finch-Henry Job Corps Center, he was so far behind in academics, he wondered if he could ever get the real job he wanted. Mykel pursued his career by contacting ACE Training School. They referred him to KLLM Trucking where he qualified for funding for Truck Driving training in ACE’s CDL Truck Driving Training. After successfully completing his training and obtaining his Commercial Drivers License, Mykel informed Finch-Henry staff, “Y’all could not do any thing for me until I wanted to do something for myself”. After completing his orientation, he will earn 35 cents per mile with the opportunity to earn $210 or more per day. Finch-Henry did not give up on “Big Mike” and “Big Mike” did not give up on himself!!
