Job Corps Centers located nationally, organized a remarkable Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service in celebration of his legacy.  The Flint Genesee Job Corps Center, was recognized along with Long Beach, Cassadaga, and Gerald R. Ford centers by the National Director of Job Corps, Lenita Jacobs-Simmons in her Open Line Newsletter.  Students served meals to the homeless, prepared disaster boxes, read children book title “I Have a Dream” to elementary school children, and assisted the Habitat for Humanity throughout the week.  Great job students!
