Students at Flint Genesee Job Corps Give Back in Honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

In recognition of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, students gave back to the community by volunteering each day of the week to include: giving children staying overnight at Hurley Hospital stuffed animals, serving the homeless at the Flint North End Soup Kitchen, preparing disaster boxes at the Genesee County Communication Resource Department; reading Dr. Martin Luther King’s book to children at Freeman Elementary School; and assisting Habitat for Humanity.  Students appreciated the opportunity to give back and staff is most of our students!
