The Fred G. Acosta Job Corps makes a positive impact on the Community with over 5,600 Hours of Community Service in 2010
December 31st, 2010
The Fred G. Acosta Job Corps Center is Giving Back to the community in a big way! In 2010 the students and staff of the Fred G. Acosta Job Corps performed over 5,600 hours of community service. We are not afraid of hard work and that shows in the diverse projects we have participated in this year. The projects involved everything from putting together care packages at the community food bank, washing cars for the American Red Cross, serving meals to homeless Veterans, Graffiti removal, a building rehab project for a local Women’s Shelter and much more. The valuable partnerships built through these community service projects is very important to enhancing the positive image of the Fred G. Acosta Job Corps Center. Keep watch to see what we can accomplish in 2011.
