Gary Job Corps Assists at Formula One Race
Seventy-four Gary Job Corps Corrections and Security Students assisted with the success of Formula-One’s debut in the United States, the last Formula One race was in 2007.  Over 127, 000 visitors observed the event in Elroy, Texas from all over the World.  The Gary Students worked the week of the Event, assisting in traffic/crowd control, maintaining security in pit areas, and around the VIP buildings.  The Gary Job Corps Corrections and Security Cadets have also assisted with the Luling Watermelon Thump, Tax-Free Week at the Outlet Mall, Graduation Ceremonies Texas State University, Bobcat Football games, and many other events from cook-ofsf to church bazaars.   Pictured at the Formula One  Tower are left to right, Gary Job Corps Corrections and Security Cadets, Gustavo Almager, Chance Taylor, Kaylee Holt, Adriana Jimenez, and Maria Vaca.  Job Corps works for Tax-payers, Communities, Employers, and At-Risk Youth.
