Three Glenmont Job Corps Center Sucess Stories

Destiny Victory enrolled at Glenmont Job Corps on September 8, 2015 and completed the Nurse’s Assistant trade. Additionally, Destiny obtained her High School Diploma during her enrollment. Upon separation, she will be returning home to pursue employment at Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home in Albany .

Michel Michelot arrived at GJCC in Sept. 2015. During his stay he completed his Auto Mechanics certifications and graduated on July 1, 2016. Michael is pleased with what he has accomplished here at GJCC and will be heading back home to Brooklyn, NYC. He is excited about his new job as a security guard which he will be work as he continues his education in the Auto Technology field at Bronx Community College in NYC.

Brendan Dalton enrolled at Glenmont Job Corps on September 22, 2015 and completed the Culinary Arts trade. Brendan also participated in the center’s Work Based Learning program at Chili’s where he demonstrated great culinary arts skills. On July 14, 2016 Brendon will be transferring to the Exeter Job Corps to pursue their Advanced Culinary Arts program.
