Kittrell Job Corps Center held its Quarterly Community Relations   Council Meeing on June 16, 2016. The 29 attendees included city officials, law enforcement, community leaders, elected officials, local school representatives, community employees, and non-profit organization.

Meeting guests and community partners were welcomed by Joan Robinson, BCL. Safety & Security Manager, Kevin Alston, provided the Safety Topic. Deputy Center Director, Norman Turner, provided a CTT update including CTST  Projects, certifications, Advanced Training and CTT traded highlights. Academics Manager , Nadirah Al Uqdah, provided an education update. Center Director , Matt Gale,  delivered the Center updates and closing remarks. Mr. Gale discussed the OBS and Center performance. Several presentations were held during the meeting, including Orenthal Morris with WEN OA/CTS  Project Director,  Dr. Ralphel Holloman with Vance County Schools, Karen Mc Donald with Walgreens, and Monica Satterwhite with NCWorks Career Center.
