CTR Instructor, Allison Liddell, and CTR Coordinator, Catherine Nolan, accompanied 8 students from the CTR class to a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Hope Credit Union on June 2. The Credit Union will be providing information to our students about saving, budgeting, and preparing for their financial future. The students will have the opportunity to walk through the process of opening a checking and savings account while learning to be financially independent. Jamie Williams, was able to cut the ribbon, and invited back to begin an account with Hope with the membership fee waived. The Job Corps students were recognized and invited to begin accounts. The objective of Hope Credit Union is to provide financial services and options for first time account holders.
