Masonry students at Loring Job Corps Center already starting the summer with multitude of Community Service Projects

Instructor David Tardie of Operative Plasterers’ & Cement Masons’ International Assoc. and his students already have been busy with many projects on  and off center.  Recently, on center at Loring Job Corps Center the students removed, repaired and poured a new concrete patio/entrance way  into the Administration Building. Off center the masonry students have prepared the grounds  and poured new sidewalks for DFAS, Defense Finance & Accounting Services along with assisting an on-going projects at Mizpah Inc., located in Grand-Isle. Just yesterday they started preparing and will pour this week concrete for an attached patio to one of the project buildings on the grounds. Other completed projects at Mizpah included a beautiful stamped concrete flooring in their worship center and a 36 ‘ wide & 6’ tall Cancer Survivor Wall. The wall is to commemorate past and existing cancer survivors.
