Facilities Students learn the Art of Asethetics

At NH Job Corps Center, trainees get incredible hands on experience in their field of study. Often times this means fixing or enhancing aspects of the center itself. Occasionally, though, it’s all about looks. This morning, Facilities Maintenance students are working on creating a visually appealing pine enclosure which will basically serve to hide the Center’s dumpster. Mr. Gilmartin, the Facilities Maintenance instructor notes, “We’ve got a lot of upcoming projects on center, building a bathroom for medical students to practice transporting patients, and a number of outdoor projects as well.” The emphasis on hands-on work is critical to the success of the Job Corps program, and all the updates around center are a great perk to staff and students as well!
