Milwaukee Job Corps Center Offers Entrepreneurship Course

The Milwaukee Job Corps Center, in partnership with the Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation and the Small Business Administration, celebrated the graduation of their students from the Start Young Initiative Entrepreneurship Program. Students presented the business plans they developed throughout their course to the staff, students, and many guests who were present on center. The students were professional and creative in their presentation of their business plan. They displayed confidence in themselves and their ideas. Ms. Rhonie Barnes, MJCC student-employee, was the winner of the business plan competition. After their presentations, each student was awarded and recognized for their participation in the class. Class facilitator, Ms. Jennifer Ring, had something special to share about each of the students as she presented them with their certificate of completion. After the program was complete, students were encouraged to network with the many guests in attendance. It was a wonderful celebration of the students’ hard work and dedication.
