The Muhlenberg Job Corps decided to team up with the local community to hold its Annual Health & Safety Fair. Many supporters of the Job Corps program came prepared to teach a hands-on important health or safety point at their booth. The students participated in the hands-on demonstrations and learned from the agencies about health eating and exercise, fire safety, emergency care, blood borne pathogens, drug & alcohol abuse, smoking cessation, prescription education, first aid and dental hygiene. Various departments on Center also hosted informational booths pertaining to their area of expertise.
