October is definitely the time for hayrides, caramel apples, corn mazes, and pumpkin hunting in the crisp autumn air.  Top leaders of the Muhlenberg Job Corps Center and Student Government Advisor, Joseph McConnell had the opportunity to witness these sights and experiences that Fall brings by volunteering at the Hartford City Festival on Saturday, October 22nd.

During the festival, they assisted with the downtown parade, inflatable bounce slides, hayrides, and hid pumpkins for the children.  They thoroughly enjoyed volunteering and the opportunity to work with the young children.

Karen Robinson, Business Community Liaison stated, “Our students thoroughly enjoy new experiences and giving back to our local communities.  They never fail to shine and professionally represent the Muhlenberg Job Corps Center.”
