The Muscular Dystrophy Association held its annual fund raising “Lock-Up” on May 17, 2012. The North Texas Job Corps participated by having two of its prized possessions, Mr. Omoniyi Amoran, Interim Center Director and Natalie Gayfield, SGA President, “locked up” while the center raised their bail. Everyone contributed–corporate, students, staff, SGA. In the end North Texas raised $1, 625.50, the third largest contribution made. This donation by the North Texas Job Corps will send two kids to MDA summer camp.
