Philadelphia, PA – Shante Kennedy new staff hired from clinical rotation.  When on the Job Corps Center Shante, would admit she was a REAL challenge, lots of energy, very independent and having a mind of her own.  Shante determined when it was a good day to do class work or when it wasn’t.  Shante is very candid and would articulate whatever was on her mind without hesitation.  It’s not uncommon to have a student/staff word exchange with reference to acceptable employability behavior while encouraging students professional ‘soft skills’ for successful longevity in the work place.   Soon, Shante buckled down to business and later got serious about training.  She completed her training achievement records and was extremely successful during her clinical rotations.  Shante was absolutely FANTASTIC with the residents. The residents would request her.  She was patient, attentive, efficient and compassionate.  Shante passed her clinical rotation as well as States requirements:  Before long the word was out about “Shante”.  Shante was hired straight from clinical by Liberty Court as a Certified Nurse Assistant.  Shante takes her work seriously; she is organized, dependable and will go the extra mile.  Liberty Court is very pleased to work with Philadelphia Job Corps Life Science Institute students and more importantly they are most happy and pleased to have their staff addition, Ms. Shante Kennedy.
