Pittsburgh Job Corps Students Stand Together for 2018 Peace Walk

To end the 2018 Y2Y Week, Pittsburgh Job Corps held a peace walk and picnic. Standing together, students, staff, and members of the local police force posed for a peace sign photograph before beginning the walk around the campus. The walk demonstrated the center’s commitment to the Y2Y mission of standing together against all forms of bullying and discrimination. Students wore “Stand Together” t-shirt in every color of the rainbow to represent our center’s diversity. The t-shirts also featured our Y2Y committee, SGA, LGBTQ community, and our Student Centered Design team, creating a peace sign. It was a day focused on working together and showcasing our pride in our community here at Pittsburgh Job Corps.
