Potomac JCC Success Story – Meet David Lewis

April 11th, 2018

When David Lewis started at Potomac JCC, he was a non-resident student who traveled 33 miles, 5 days a week to get to the Center.  Although he came from a tough environment, where gangs and drugs were a constant influence, he decided that his education was a greater opportunity.  While David was completing his trade in Office Administration, he took the time to help his peers be successful in the program, as well.  David graduated in March 2018 from Potomac and is currently a student at IGlobal University.  He is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and working as a Front Desk Agent at Serco, Inc.  David’s positive reinforcement from Potomac JCC have been Ms. Deloatch, Ms. Holt, Officer Pearsall, and Ms. Mason.  According to David, they have provided him with infinite knowledge and everlasting support on and off the Center.  “CONGRATULATIONS DAVID!”
