On February 11th, SJCC were honored to be a part of this year’s NAACP Image Awards in Pasadena, CA. Four of our security students, Hollie Higgins, Uriah McClendon, Christian Robinson, and Razhanique Johnson (all pictured below), were chosen to participate as part of the Security Team for the event. Their duties included to man the Red Carpet and the VIP booth at the Awards Gala after the show. The students were able to interact with the cast from shows “Blackish” and “Empire”. The students could not have been more excited, and performed their duties wonderfully. This may even become an annual event for the Sacramento Job Corps to participate in.
