The True North Project sponsored a Resource Fair for former foster youth from the Sacramento Job Corps Center. The event was held in the SJCC Recreation Center. Students had an opportunity to listen to presenters from several organizations regarding housing options, internet safety and security, employment, higher education, health and wellness, transportation, resources for parents and children and other community connections. The event was a success and students received an abundance of valuable information from the presenters. DeWayne Norris was responsible for bringing the True North Project to SJCC.
