Shreveport Mayor Cedric B. Glover visited the Shreveport Job Corps Center to meet with the 2011 Fall SGA (Student Government Association) Executive Board Officers. During the Mayor’s visit the SGA Executive Board Officers engaged him in a roundtable discussion of the duties and expectations of the leaders. The officer asked the Mayor a number of questions concerning his reign in government and how he was able to get the members of council to follow him. The Mayor told the board that in any leadership role you need to listen at your staff and the people. The discussion was very informative and gave the leaders insight into what and how they need to lead their fellow board members and students.
