Students from all the TCU/IAM locations participated in an essay contest on how COVID-19 virus has impacted the transportation industry and also to do a media presentation to illustrate the topic of the essay.   Chance Openshaw from Shriver Job Corp in Devens, MA wrote his essay with a Google Slides presentation focusing on how the airline industry has been impacted.  He placed 1st at Shriver and place 3rd overall in the nation.  Chance stated, “honestly I came into this trade knowing little to nothing about the railroad industry and it’s through the hard work and dedication of my instructors that I’ve learned the skills and knowledge that I have.  Without them I never would have come as far as I have and thank you to TCU/IAM for giving students like me a chance to succeed.”
