Commemorative Oath of Enlistment

In celebration of Veteran’s Day 2011, San Marcos Mayor Daniel Guerrero recently designated “Army Day” in San Marcos, Texas and read a proclamation expressing the appreciation of the young men and women who took the Commemorative Oath of Enlistment given by LTC David A. Grant, Battalion Commander, Recruiting Battalion San Antonio. Forty individuals from San Marcos, Gary Job Corps, Buda, Kyle, Lockhart, Luling, Bastrop, New Braunfels, and other central Texas cities stood at attention receiving the Oath of Enlistment and listening to presentations by Lonnie Hall, Center Director Gary Job Corps, LTC David A. Grant, Capt. Camille A. Cunningham, Company Commander, Army Recruiting San Marcos, and San Marcos Mayor Daniel Guerrero.
