Whitney M Young Job Corps Culinary Arts Students rendered a service to the Shelbyville KY NAACP at their first annual Freedom Fund Scholarship Banquet on August 25th. The culinary arts students served dinner. Whitney Young students utilized their culinary arts skills under the direction of Chef Cole including customer service, proper etiquette and service with a smile. The exposure also demonstrated the potential Job Corps students possess. It is this type of community service that builds partnerships with the local community.
