May 12th, 2020

RIVERTON – Distance learning kicked off this week at Wind River Job Corps in Wyoming. Some students are trepidatious about the process as they are either inexperienced with online teaching and learning techniques, or have struggled with it in the past. To help ease the discomfort, and give them a better chance of success, we’ve developed a series of five TalkAbout e-newsletters. These coping-skill editions address how to set up an effective learning space, being pragmatic about time management, behavioral tips, hints for avoiding distractions and goal setting.

Particularly for students that struggle with attention focus, this TalkAbout provides hints for avoiding distractions.
